Welcome to the 28th running of this well established race.  Again this year we are proud to the have the support of Southwood Presbyterian Church, which serves as race headquarters.  We invite you to race, run or walk this scenic course through some beautiful neighborhoods.  This year’s race will once again offer homemade post run snacks courtesy of generous Southwood bakers.

The 5K starts at 8:00 AM, and the 1 mile KIDS fun run at 9:00 AM
at Southwood Presbyterian Church, 1000 Carl T. Jones Drive, Huntsville, AL

Race is limited to 500 entrants.

REGISTRATION FOR THE COOKIE DASH IS CLOSED.  THE RACE HAS REACHED ITS 500 PERSON LIMIT. NO MORE ENTRIES ACCEPTED AND NO WAIT LIST.

Please limit adult involvement in the fun run to parents who are running with small children.  The fun run is designed to give the kids their own event in which to shine.  Thanks.

Registration begins at 7:00 AM on race day.  You must register by 7:35 AM.
Awards will follow the fun run at approximately 10:00 AM.

Please note: Due to liability insurance requirements as well as your safety and the safety of other runners the following are not allowed during the race: strollers, baby joggers, skateboards, bicycles, animals, roller blades, headphones, iPods, MP3 players, unauthorized vehicles, unentered runners, etc.  Runners who violate this policy will be DISQUALIFIED.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
