Huntsville Hospital/HTC Autumn Chase Fun Runs
Come out to Jaycees Building
off Airport Road
on Thursday, September 20th, 2007 to take part in the 26th Annual Autumn Chase
1 Mile Fun Runs. The runs are free for all kids Kindergarten through 8th
grade. This is a great opportunity for your child to come out and
experience the joys of running. The 1 mile course takes place on the
grounds of the old Airport at the north end of the old runways near the current
Jaycees Building. All children will
receive a T-shirt to remember their accomplishment. All children will run
only with kids in their grade level with separate races for boys and girls (6th
through 8th grades run together but still separate races for boys and
girls). We will also hold a Teachers Fun Run at 5:00 p.m. Encourage your
favorite teacher to run! While awards are given to the top 15 runners in
each grade, the emphasis is on health, fun and just completing the run.
The schedule of races is as follows (get there early to park and register – last
year over 2000 kids took part).
